Financial Policy – Holistiq Health Pty Ltd

Introduction

Holistiq Health is committed to providing transparent information regarding fees, billing and appointment policies.

By booking an appointment with Holistiq Health, patients acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Financial Policy.


Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are payable at the time of booking or consultation unless otherwise agreed.

Current consultation fees are available through our online booking system and may be updated periodically.


 

Medicare Rebates

Where eligible, Medicare rebates may be available for consultations provided by Holistiq Health.

Eligibility for Medicare rebates is determined by current Medicare requirements and regulations and may vary depending on the type of consultation provided.

Patients remain responsible for any gap fees not covered by Medicare.


Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth consultations are charged at the same rate as equivalent face-to-face consultations unless otherwise stated.

Medicare rebates for telehealth consultations are subject to current Medicare eligibility requirements. Eligibility may depend on factors including previous face-to-face consultations, patient location, residential status, or other Medicare criteria.

Patients who do not meet Medicare eligibility requirements for telehealth consultations may still access telehealth services through Holistiq Health. In these circumstances, the full consultation fee will apply and no Medicare rebate will be available.

Patients are responsible for ensuring they have access to suitable technology, a reliable internet or telephone connection, and a private environment for telehealth consultations.

If a telehealth consultation is not considered clinically appropriate, Holistiq Health may recommend a face-to-face consultation or referral to another suitable healthcare provider.


Payment Methods

Holistiq Health accepts approved electronic payment methods through its practice management and payment systems.

Payment is generally required at the time services are provided.

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances change and appointments may occasionally need to be rescheduled.

Patients are requested to provide at least 24 hours' notice if they are unable to attend an appointment.

Providing adequate notice allows appointments to be offered to other patients waiting for care.


Late Cancellations and Non-Attendance

Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may affect future booking availability.

Holistiq Health reserves the right to introduce cancellation fees, request prepayment, or require deposits for future appointments where repeated non-attendance occurs.


Prescriptions, Referrals and Investigations

Consultation fees cover professional assessment and clinical decision-making.

Fees do not guarantee:

  • A prescription
  • A referral
  • A pathology request
  • An imaging request
  • A specific treatment recommendation

Clinical recommendations are made following individual assessment and professional judgement.


Outstanding Accounts

Holistiq Health reserves the right to withhold non-urgent services where accounts remain unpaid.

Patients experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to discuss their circumstances with the practice.


Fee Changes

Fees may be reviewed periodically to reflect changes in operating costs, healthcare regulations and service delivery requirements.

Updated fees will be made available through the practice website and booking system.
