At Holistiq Health, we recognise that accessing ongoing healthcare and support can sometimes present financial or personal challenges. In response, the practice has established a Supported Access Pathway to help improve access to appropriate healthcare support for eligible individuals experiencing financial hardship, vulnerability, or barriers to care.
As a small and individually operated practice, a limited number of consultations may be available as bulk-billed consultations for Medicare-eligible patients (with no out-of-pocket cost at the time of the appointment) or as reduced-fee consultations, depending on individual circumstances and eligibility.
This referral-based pathway is intended to support safe, respectful, and equitable access to healthcare assessment, education, and ongoing clinical support within the scope and capacity of the practice.
Participation in the Supported Access Pathway does not guarantee suitability for any specific treatment or prescription outcome. All care recommendations are based on individual clinical assessment, safety considerations, and appropriateness.

The Supported Access Pathway may be appropriate for individuals experiencing circumstances that impact their ability to access ongoing healthcare support. This may include financial hardship, social vulnerability, complex health needs, or reduced access to healthcare services.
For some individuals, financial strain may arise through the cumulative cost of managing chronic or complex health concerns, including access to multiple healthcare providers, therapies, medications, investigations, or ongoing treatment supports over time. In other situations, reduced income or financial hardship may occur due to illness, disability, caring responsibilities, or other personal, health-related, or life circumstances that may affect ongoing employment or financial stability.
This pathway is intended to provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental referral option for individuals who may benefit from additional support. We recognise that many people experience challenging periods throughout life, and each referral is considered thoughtfully and individually within the scope and capacity of the practice.
Referrals may be submitted by healthcare professionals, support workers, peer workers, community organisations, or other appropriate advocates where additional support may be beneficial.
All referrals are reviewed thoughtfully and individually. Where appropriate, the practice may contact the referrer by phone or email to obtain further background information or clarification regarding the patient’s circumstances, healthcare needs, supports, or current treatment involvement.
The Supported Access Pathway is intended to complement, rather than replace, existing healthcare supports wherever possible. Where appropriate, communication and collaboration with a patient’s broader healthcare team may form part of ongoing care.
Participation in the Supported Access Pathway does not guarantee suitability for any specific treatment or prescription outcome. All care recommendations are based on individual clinical assessment, safety considerations, and appropriateness within the scope and capacity of the practice.
Due to the individualised nature of this pathway, response times and appointment availability may vary.
